Music

The following files are meant to serve only as a preview of the game's music. Both games have a wonderful OST that is available to purchase. If you enjoyed listening to these files, I recommend purchasing the CD.

Final Fantasy X

  • To Zanarkand (MP3, 2.8MB) - The music playing during the starting screen of the game. Even though it is midi quality, it has surprisingly kept it's beautiful melody. This is a really beautiful instrumental and it goes very well with the overall mood of the game.
  • Otherworld (MP3, 2.9MB) - The main theme of FFX. Surprisingly, it's a rock song, which I'm pretty sure is a first for a Final Fantasy game. It doesn't come out too well in this midi, but I definitely recommend finding the mp3 version. This is a very motivational and adventure-packed song, it was used to first introduce Tidus during the Blitzball tournament.

Final Fantasy X-2

  • Memory (MP3, 3.52MB) - This song plays in the background of the startup screen of the game. It seems melancholy at first, but grows calmer with a sense of hope after the piano comes in. The song is as absolutely beautiful as the first game's. I highly recommend listening to it if you haven't already.
  • Rikku's Theme (MP3, 1.92MB) - This is the instrumental of Rikku's theme. Very happy and fun. What else would you expect from Rikku's theme song?
  • Rikku's Theme (Vocal) (MP3, 5.26MB) - The same as above, but with Rikku singing. It's a bit of a larger file, but I think it would be worth the download if you wanted to hear Rikku sing. Keep in mind that the theme song is in the original Japanese language.
